Biography

Tony Sanchez is vice president of customer experience for Comcast Advertising, the advertising division of Comcast Cable. He oversees the customer experience strategy and associated programs, including the Net Promoter System, for Comcast Advertising, which includes Effectv, the advertising sales organization, and FreeWheel, A Comcast Company and technology platform powering the TV marketplace of the future. 

Additionally, Tony partners with leaders across the organization to spearhead new and innovative solutions to drive best-in-class customer and employee experiences. This includes building and improving the process, foundation and strategy for how Comcast Advertising delivers and excels on behalf of its customers. He also works closely with Comcast Corporation’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion teams to bolster their efforts. 

Before Comcast Advertising, Tony worked at Comcast for nearly five years as vice president of operations for the Customer Experience Product team. In this role, he was instrumental in helping to launch the Xfinity Assistant, an always-on virtual assistant that provides personalized, guided help to customers 24/7. 

Tony has more than 20 years of entrepreneurial expertise in marketing and sales strategy as well as business plan development. Prior to joining Comcast, Tony served in a number of leadership roles for organizations ranging from early-stage, privately held companies and non-profits to large corporations. 

A 13-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, Tony served as an officer in the Navy SEAL team, leaving as a Lieutenant Commander. He is active in community service and currently a volunteer firefighter with the Narberth Fire Department. 

Tony graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in systems engineering and earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on marketing and finance from Harvard Business School. 

He lives with his family in the Philadelphia area.
